ICT, management and Gram Swaraj

Dr. Satish Patel has worked at Gujarat Vidyapith since 1997. His expertise spans ICT, system management, e-governance, e-commerce, data analytics and technology management for sustainable rural development.

He has taught courses including Managerial Applications of ICT, Information System for Management, Technology Driven Management and ICT, and helped design the MRM, MBA (Rural Management), MA (Human Resource Management) and BRS (Rural Planning & Development) programmes.

He has contributed to NAAC assessments as a member of the university and department IQAC teams, and serves as nodal officer for AICTE, NIRF, AISHE, Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, KCG and several ICT committees. He sits on the Board of Studies for Rural Studies at VNSGU, Surat. From 1997 to 2024 he designed and ran the Vidyapith's ICT infrastructure, including the wireless network and the computer centres at Sadra and Randheja.
